What is KPV
KPV peptide is a tripeptide composed of lysine (Lys), proline (Pro), and valine (Val) (Lys-Pro-Val). KPV is a naturally occurring peptide in the body. It is present in the hormone α-MSH. This relatively new peptide is an α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone.
KPV Benefits
KPV exerts potent anti-inflammatory effects through multiple key mechanisms. It functions intracellularly to deactivate inflammatory pathways. KPV also demonstrates antimicrobial activity against pathogens. Its antibacterial effects have been confirmed against two major pathogens: Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans. Research indicates KPV accelerates wound healing, reduces infections, combats inflammation, and delivers enhanced cosmetic outcomes.
KPV Dosage
200-500 micrograms administered subcutaneously daily. Typically combined with rest, diet, or other anti-inflammatory supportive measures to maximize efficacy.
KPV Side Effects
To date, KPV has demonstrated excellent safety in animal models and limited human trials. As a naturally occurring tripeptide fragment of α-MSH with a small molecular size, it is generally well-tolerated and does not appear to induce systemic complications typically associated with potent immunosuppressive drugs.
