What is Ipamorelin and Its Mechanism of Action

Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide growth hormone-releasing peptide. Its chemical structure incorporates specific amino acid sequences including Aib, His, and D-2-Nal, exhibiting typical characteristics of GHRPs (growth hormone-releasing peptides). It specifically stimulates the pituitary gland to release growth hormone (GH), thereby regulating bodily growth and metabolism. As an agonist of the GHS receptor (growth hormone-releasing hormone receptor), Ipamorelin binds to GHS receptors on pituitary cells, activating calcium signaling pathways and cAMP pathways to promote GH secretion. Similar to GHRP-6, its efficacy manifests in stimulating IGF-1 synthesis, thereby regulating muscle growth, fat metabolism, and tissue repair. ‌

The optimal cycle duration is 8 weeks. The daily Ipamorelin dosage is 300μg (3 injections daily, 100μg each). The daily CJC-1295 dosage is 300μg (3 injections daily, 100μg each).
Injections are recommended three times daily: upon waking, post-workout, and before bedtime.

Potential Side Effects of Ipamorelin
