What is GHRP-2
GHRP-2 (Growth Hormone-Releasing Peptide-2) is a synthetic peptide that strongly stimulates the human body to secrete growth hormone (GH). It also functions as an agonist (activator) of the intestinal peptide ghrelin. The ghrelin peptide binds to the pro-secretory receptor for growth hormone (GH), exerting effects on food intake and gastric emptying. It is well-known to promote hunger and enhance appetite by stimulating ghrelin release.
