More importantly, it is your body.
A good and stable emotional state is mostly based on a good and stable physical state.
I don’t deny that there are very few people who are still optimistic and positive despite illness, but for most people. When you are strong and healthy, you have a more stable level of endocrine hormones in your body, which makes it easy to maintain emotional stability, optimistic thinking, eager to try challenges, and easy to focus on doing things. When you become obese and high-fat, eat and drink a lot, your body is full of chronic inflammation, and you will also feel fatigue, discomfort, and have some annoying minor problems from time to time, and even significantly increase the risk of depression and anxiety.
In life and career, the former is an efficiency bonus, while the latter is an efficiency devaluation. And in the long run, the efficiency difference is huge. If a person is a car, the body is the frame, four wheels, and engine. Your brain is the driver. The maintenance of the car actually determines how far and how fast you can go. When I went to the hospital, I found that I was really unhappy. The money was gone, and the emotional experience was gone. The feeling of weakness makes me feel like I am driving a whirring, smoking old car, and I feel scared even if I step on the accelerator lightly.
It can be said that the human body is extremely sensitive, which is a survival mechanism that has evolved over a long period of time.
The advantage is that it can improve the survival rate in the long run, but the disadvantage is that a little buff can make you lose all your fighting power and interest in enjoying life.
In addition, from the perspective of extending life time, the human body condition can basically allow you to build up without restraint for ten years at most.
And a person who exercises regularly can extend this time point without burden.
In the long run, even the overall enjoyment of food and the high-quality exploration of the world can be far higher than those who eat and drink a lot and start to ventilate in their thirties and forties, have high blood sugar and blood lipids, and can only avoid eating.
But this is a point that many people don’t care about and deliberately ignore.
In other words, the management and maintenance of the body usually focuses more on long-term high-quality emotional pleasure.
